The pinnacle of OSA's contribution to the community is its DREAM
PROJECT, a modern engineering institute, for which it DONATED a
5 ½ acre plot of land at Panvel, Navi Mumbai to its parent body
- ANJUMAN-I-ISLAM in the year 1999. The institute thus founded,
was wholly funded by a great philanthropist, after whom it was
named Haji Abdul Razzak Kalsekar, which started functioning in
June 2002.
The plot was donated for specific purpose by OSA to
Anjuman-i-Islam for establishing a technical institute on the
lines of M. H. Saboo Siddik Polytechnic through a tripartite
agreement to which OSA, Anjuman-i-Islam and CIDCO were the
respective parties. It was a dream project of OSA which began
functioning from the academic year 2002-2003, with three diploma
courses in Computer Engineering, Information Technology and
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. And now it has
added Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering which are
approved by AICTE, New Delhi and DTE, Maharashtra. All these
faculties are running to full capacity. Due to poor response
from students, Information Technology has been closed.
